ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
OF COUNTRY
G'day. I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land that Talk & Assist: Yayalanha Psychiatric Services operates on; Wiradjuri Land. I would also like to pay my respects to all Wiradjuri people, their elders, past, present and emerging as well as any other first nations persons that may interact with our service.
I'd like to acknowledge and pay my respects to my own ancestors, who are Wiradjuri mob.
I came back to country in 2016 and acknowledge how truly blessed we are to be able to work, play and live on such stunning country and be surrounded by such culturally rich areas in Wagga Wagga 'a place to dance'. My bunjil and I frequent the Wollundry Lagoon and Wiradjuri Reserve. I am truly blessed to learn and work with mob.
Lastly, I'd like to acknowledge sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be.
Stay Deadly, Kaitlyn.

Hello, I'm Kaitlyn
'Yayalanha', wiradjuri for "talk and assist' is founded and operated by Kaitlyn Haran an endorsed Nurse Practitioner who has a large interest and extensive experience in working in Mental Health. Also i am a Mum of four, wife, aunt, daughter, sister and friend.
Kaitlyn has worked in the Mental Health Sector since 2016 in the Murrumbidgee and is a proud Wiradjuri woman. She has worked in both the Community and Inpatient Mental Health Unit at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, and has a keen interest in working with children, young adults with complex mental health issues. However, Kaitlyn has experience working with people across the lifespan for a wide range of mental health problems.
Hello,
Thanks for visiting our page. I'm glad you're here and hope that we can assist and support you. In my spare time when i am not working or being 'Mum', I like to go down to our local with some friends, socialize and eat good food! I started Yayalanha to address an overwhelmingly large gap in the mental health care sector in our region. It's disappointing the see so many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends struggle to access timely mental health care. While i alone can't fix the issue, i hope to make accessing supports a bit easier for some. Hope we meet soon!
